【摘要】:ThispartofthisEuropeanStandardappliestohand-heldbranchpipes.Itdealswith:-safetyrequirements;-performancerequirements;-testmethods;-classificationanddesignation;-operatinginstructions;-markingandmaintenance.ThisstandarddoesnotapplytobranchpipescoveredbyEN671,foambranchpipesnorpowderbranchpipes,norbranchpipeswithamaximumworkingpressureabove40bar.TheWorkingGrouphasthoroughlyaddressedanddiscussedtheissueofelectricalsafetyinrelationtousingwaterbranchpipes.However,anelectricaltestisnotincorporatedintothisstandardasinternationalexperience,aswellasresearch(NFPAhandbook,Frenchresearch,etc)haveshownthatany"artificial"or"laboratorystyle"testingwillnottakeintoaccountpoorvisibilityandotherconditionspresentonanyfireground,northeproblemofestimatingdistancesundertheseconditions.Theendusershouldbeadvised(throughtheoperatinginstructions,see8.1)thatwhenfightingfiresinornearelectricalinstallations,thepowershouldbecutoffassoonaspossible.Also,maintainamaximumpossiblesafetydistance(atleast1mupto1000V)anduseasprayjetwithaminimumsprayangleof30°.
