【摘要】:ThispartofISO16017givesgeneralguidanceforthesamplingandanalysisofvolatileorganiccompounds(VOCs)inair.Itisapplicabletoambient,indoorandworkplaceatmospheresandtheassessmentofemissionsfrommaterialsinsmall-orfull-scaletestchambers.ThispartofISO16017isappropriateforawiderangeofVOCs,includinghydrocarbons,halogenatedhydro-carbons,esters,glycolethers,ketonesandalcohols.AnumberofsorbentsarerecommendedforthesamplingoftheseVOCs,eachsorbenthavingadifferentrangeofapplicability.Verypolarcompoundswillgenerallyrequirederivatization,verylowboilingcompoundswillonlybepartiallyretainedbythesorbents,dependingonambienttemperature,andcanonlybeestimatedqualitatively.Semi-volatilecompoundswillbefullyretainedbythesorbents,butmayonlybepartiallyrecovered.CompoundsforwhichthispartofISO16017hasbeentestedaregivenintables.ThispartofISO16017maybeapplicabletocompoundsnotlisted,butinthesecasesitisadvisabletouseaback-uptubecontainingthesameorastrongersorbent.ThispartofISO16017isapplicabletothemeasurementofairbornevapoursofVOCsinaconcentrationrangeofapproximately0,5μg/mto100mg/mindividualcompound.Theupperlimitoftheusefulrangeissetbythesorptivecapacityofthesorbentusedandbythelineardynamicrangeofthegaschromatographcolumnanddetectororbythesample-splittingcapabilityoftheanalyticalinstrumentationused.Thesorptivecapacityismeasuredasabreakthroughvolumeofair,whichdeterminesthemaximumairvolumethatshallnotbeexceededwhensampling.Thelowerlimitoftheusefulrangedependsonthenoiselevelofthedetectorandonblanklevelsofanalyteand/orinterferingartefactsonthesorbenttubes.Artefactsaretypicallysub-nanogramforwell-conditionedTenaxGRandcarbonaceoussorbentssuchasCarbopack/Carbotraptypematerials,carbonizedmolecularsievesandmolecularsievessuchasSpherocarb,orpurecharcoal;atlownanogramlevelsforTenaxTAandat5ngto50nglevelsforotherporouspolymerssuchasChromosorbsandPorapaks.Sensitivityistypicallylimitedto0,5ug/m3for10-litreairsampleswiththislattergroupofsorbentsbecauseoftheirinherenthighbackground.TheprocedurespecifiedinthispartofISO16017isapplicabletolowflowratepersonalsamplingpumpsandgivesatime-weightedaverageresult.Itisnotapplicabletothemeasurementofinstantaneousorshort-termfluctuationsinconcentration.note:1)ThesorbentslistedinannexCandelsewhereinthisInternationalStandardarethoseknowntoperformasspecifiedunderthispartofISO16017.Eachsorbentorproductthatisidentifiedbyatrademarkednameisuniqueandhasasolemanufacturer;however,theyarewidelyavailablefrommanydifferentsuppliers.ThisinformationisgivenfortheconvenienceofusersofthispartofISO16017anddoesnotconstituteanendorsementbyISOoftheproductnamed.Equivalentproductsmaybeusediftheycanbeshowntoleadtothesameresults.
